Biographical Information

"Ellen Walker’s unique background and experience in the travel and cruise industries spans more than 25 years with companies including: Norwegian American Cruises, Royal Viking Line, Crystal Cruises and Classic Custom Vacations, leading their west coast sales teams. In 1998, Ellen founded the luxury travel company, Fine Wine Travel, which sold in 2006.

"Ellen’s expertise includes sales, marketing and event planning. Through the years, Ellen created and developed several national marketing and promotional campaigns creating group travel programs for a wide variety of corporations, educational institutions and non-profit organizations.

"Ellen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami with a Major in Accounting. She continued in the field of Public Accounting as an Auditor and Tax Accountant until it was time to turn her love of travel into a successful sales and marketing career.

"Ellen’s life experience brought her to the founding of Renewal Retreats. Renewal Retreats offers travel combined with education, workshops and retreats to enrich the mind, body and spirit.

"Currently residing in Marin County in Northern California, Ellen shares her home life with her 17 year old son. She loves hiking, traveling and continuing her education, in pursuit of good health, personal growth and happiness. Ellen’s integrity, heart and generosity of spirit, bridges empowerment with purpose, creating opportunities for groups and individuals to reach their goals."
