Ellen L. Frost
Ellen L. Frost "is a Visiting Fellow at the Institute for International Economics in Washington, DC and an Adjunct Research Fellow at the Institute for National Strategic Studies at the National Defense University. She is co-editor of a major study on the impact of globalization on national security, titled The Global Century: Globalization and National Security (National Defense University Press, 2001). She served as Counselor to the U.S. Trade Representative (1993-95) and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Economic and Technology Affairs (1977-81). Prior to that, she held positions in the Treasury Department and the Senate. During the 1980s, she worked in the Washington offices of two major multinational corporations. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the International Institute of Strategic Studies, and the Public Diplomacy Council.” [1]Also see
