Electronic Publishing Initiative at Columbia
In 2000 they received a $530,000 grant "from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to track and evaluate the use and costs of its projects over the next three years." [1]
In 2003 "Columbia University announced that its Electronic Publishing Initiative at Columbia (EPIC) has been awarded a 4-year renewal grant of $3 million from the National Science Foundation." [2]
