Biographical Details

"Ekow Eshun is the Artistic Director of the Institute of Contemporary Arts. He is also a cultural commentator and an award-winning broadcaster who appears regularly on BBC 2’s Newsnight Review. He is a contributor to publications including the Guardian, the Observer, the Sunday Times, Vogue and the New Statesman. Eshun became the youngest ever editor of a men’s magazine when he became editor of Arena magazine at the age of 28. He is the author of the memoir Black Gold of the Sun: Searching for home in Africa and England (Penguin, 2005), nominated for the Orwell Prize for political writing in 2006." [1]
