"Dr. Edugie Abebe mni, holds an MBBS from College of Medicine, University of Lagos (1969 - 1974). She also attended the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (1978 - 1979), where she obtained M.Sc. Community Health.

"Dr. Abebe was a career civil servant and a consummate professional. She was Director Public Health in the Federal Ministry of Health (1999-2005) and coordinated the National Program on Immunization (NPI) and midwifed its merger with the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) in 2007. She reached the zenith of her career and retired as a Federal Permanent Secretary. She is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management and an Alumnus of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS).

"Dr. Abebe has attended numerous international conferences and workshops. She serves on the Board of May & Baker Nig. Plc as a non-executive director, from March 14,2013. " [1]
