Eddy Mwelwa
"Dr. Edward Mwelwa brings to Teleos Leadership Institute many years of coaching and counseling executives through leadership development and organizational transformation. Eddy's expertise is customizing an intervention by integrating a number of disciplines and processes. He has a special interest in the application of Emotional Intelligence to executive coaching, work relationships, leadership and followership, and large system change as an organizational intervention.
"Eddy is a master facilitator and serves as faculty for Teleos’s large-scale global leadership development programs, is certified by the International Coach Federation at the PCC (Professional Coach Certification) level, and is a graduate of the OSD (Organizational and Systems Development) program through the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland. Eddy’s clients over the years include UNDP, Unisys, Merrill Lynch, US Steel and University of South Florida. Eddy’s passion is to build leadership and followership capabilities globally, with particular focus on emerging democracies in Africa.
"In addition to his work with Teleos, Eddy also serves on the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania at the Wharton School's Aresty Institute of Executive Education. Prior to joining Teleos Leadership Institute, Eddy owned Eland Consulting, a firm specializing in executive coaching and counseling. Prior to his work with Eland Consulting, he lived in the United Kingdom, where he consulted to government and business on leadership development, managing organizational change, team restructuring, group dynamics and workplace cultural change. He has written and presented articles on the application of Gestalt Theory to counseling, effective relationships in the workplace, managing alcohol related problems at work, psychotherapy and counseling at work, and the prevention of alcohol related problems at work.
"Edward Mwelwa received his doctorate in Occupational Psychology from Cranfield University (Bedford, England) and his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Lancaster (England)." [1]
