Ed Broadbent

Ed Broadbent was director of the International Center for Human Rights and Democratic Development from 1989 to 1996. He then went on to become a Board member for the Institute for Media, Policy and Civil Society from 1997 to 2003.

He was leader of the federal New Democratic Party (NDP) from 1975 to 1989.
