EG&G

EG&G, formally known as Edgerton, Germeshausen, and Grier, Inc., was a United States national defense contractor. From 1999 until 2001 EG&G was wholly owned by The Carlyle Group. In August 2002, the defense and services sector of the company was acquired by defense technical services giant URS Corporation.
