Biographical Information
"As well as being a trustee of YMCA England (chair of its retail division comprising over 150 shops), Duncan is a Director of London First (sitting on its nominations committee and chairing its Economic Panel) and a member of the British Olympic Association's Advisory Board.
"He worked at BT from 1985 to 2012 in a variety of marketing, operational and general management roles including UK marketing director. His last three roles were managing director broadband services making the unit into the UK's number 1 internet service provider; managing director customer service leading the unit to the best performance in a decade; and group director responsible for London and for BT's London 2012 programme, chairing both the Group's London board and the board successfully delivering its 2012 obligations.
"Prior to BT, Duncan worked for Westinghouse in sales and marketing responsible for one of the division's UK and EMEA markets and also for Dickinson Robinson Group.
"He has been a non executive director of the Tullis Russell Group (chair, remuneration committee and member, audit committee), Think London, the British Quality Foundation and a number of BT subsidiaries.
"Duncan was born in South America, studied at Oxford University, speaks Spanish and French, and is married with three children." [1]
