Dr. Karen Effrem
Dr. Karen Effrem is the president of Education Liberty Watch a conservative education advocacy group with a national footprint in Maple Grove, MN.
Dr. Effram is a pediatrician, researcher, and conference speaker who received her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University and her pediatric training from the University of Minnesota. She and her husband, Paul, have three children and live in the Minneapolis metro area.
She has testified before Congress, and presented in-depth analysis of numerous pieces of major federal education, health, and early childhood legislation for congressional staff, state legislatures, and many organizations. She has spoken at numerous state and national conferences, been interviewed by Fox News and the Wall Street Journal, the British Medical Journal, National Journal, WorldNetDaily, NewsMax, newspapers, radio and television stations across the country.
