Previously, he was an alternate director of Anglo American Industrial Corporation Limited and Anglo American Corporation of South Africa Limited, a director of AngloGold Ashanti Limited as well as non-executive chairman of South African Airways. He is currently chairman of Rare Holdings Limited, chairman of Badimo Gas, executive director of Cincinnati Mining S.A., a director of Manhattan Operations Douglas, and he serves on the boards of various other companies."
