Don Swan
Don Swan "was educated at Goulburn, NSW. He attended the Royal Military College, Duntroon, graduating in 1954, and the University of NSW, graduating with a BA in Commerce and Economics. Prior to becoming Managing Director of UPL Group Ltd, in January 1975, he held senior executive positions with Esso Australia and Brambles. In May 1988 he joined Humes Ltd as Chief Executive Officer, which is part of Smorgon Consolidated Industries, and Smorgon ARC, its principle operating unit where Mr Swan is Executive Officer." [1]

On 6 April 1997 Mr Don Swan was appointed as the Executive Chairman of Public Employment Placement Enterprise Limited. [3]
In the past Don was a member of the secretive neoliberal Crossroads group.
