Doeke Eisma

Doeke Eisma (Netherlands), MA in Sociology, "was a Member of the Dutch Senate (1970-1976) and a Member of the Second Chamber (1986-1994) on behalf of the political party Democrats 66. He was a Member of the European Parliament (1980-1984 and 1994-1999) as the European Liberal Party co-ordinator for Environment. He was the Chairman of the Waddenzee Society (2000-2004) and of the Dutch Committee of the IUCN (World Conservation Union) from 2000 to 2007 and acted as a senior advisor to 3 Dutch nature conservation organisations on relations with the European Union (2000 to 2006). He is GLOBE Europe's Senior Advisor. " [1]
