Professor Diane Elson "is a member of the Department of Sociology and the Human Rights Centre, University of Essex. She has published widely on gender and development, most recently on gender equality and government budgets. She was a member of the Millennium Project TaskForce on MDG3 Promote Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment." [1]
