Diana Villiers Negroponte

Diana Negroponte "is an adjunct faculty member at Fordham University. She has studied and taught at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. In the 1980's and again in 1997, Mrs. Negroponte practiced international trade law with Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker. She also worked with the American Chamber of Commerce in Mexico City in preparation for the North American Free Trade Agreement.

"Diana Negroponte is committed to problems of global development, having served as a teacher in Uganda with Voluntary Service Overseas, the British equivalent of the Peace Corps and a construction worker on the Yugoslav/Romanian border with International Voluntary Service. She continues to build houses with Habitat for Humanity International both in New York City and abroad and, having completed her service on its Board of Directors, is a member of its Global Leadership Council. She also serves on the Board of Trustees of Opportunity International, an NGO dedicated to micro-credit lending and banking.
