Biographical Information

"Dennis Hone became interim Chief Executive of the London Legacy Development Corporation in August 2012. He is also Chief Executive of the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA), a position he has held since February 2011, ensuring the delivery of venues, infrastructure and the Athletes’ Village were delivered on time and within budget for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

"Before this Dennis was Director of Finance and Corporate Services at the ODA for over four years. Since the outset of the project he has been responsible for the financial management of the ODA and therefore closely involved in the development of the ODA’s programme and delivery of the project. He was also responsible for a range of corporate services, such as IT, Legal and HR.

"Dennis previously held a range of senior roles in the public sector focused on regeneration. He joined the ODA from English Partnerships, the Government’s national regeneration agency, where he was Chief Operating Officer. His previous roles include Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Finance at the Commission for the New Towns and Financial Controller of the London Docklands Development Corporation. "[1]
