Biographical Information
"Mr. Dennis D. Dammerman served as the Management Director of General Electric Co., holding company of GEFS (Suisse) AG (also known as GE Capital Bank) and as its Chief Financial Officer from 1984 to 1994 and since 1995...He has 38-year career at GE. He served as an Executive Officer of General Electric Company from 1998 to December 31, 2005 and also served as its Member of the Corporate Executive Office until 2005. He served as the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of General Electric Capital Services Inc., a subsidiary of General Electric Co. and GEFS (Suisse) AG from 1998 to December 31, 2005 and since 1998, respectively and also served as its Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President...From June 1994 to 1995, he served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kidder Peabody Group, Inc. He has been the Chairman of the Board of Capmark Financial Group, Inc. since December 2008. Mr. Dammerman serves as the Chairman of GE Global Insurance Holding Corp., and Swiss Re Solutions Holding Corp. He served as the Non Executive Independent Chairman of Discover Financial Services from June 30, 2007 to January 12, 2009. He served as the Chairman of Mortgage Investments LLC from March 2006 to March 2008 and Capmark Financial Group Inc., from March 2006 to March 2008. Mr. Dammerman served as Vice Chairman of the Board of General Electric Co., from 1998 to December 31, 2005. He has been a Director of Capmark Financial Group Inc., since March 2006 and has been its Lead Independent Director since March 2008. He serves as a Director of BlackRock Preferred Income Strategies Fund, Inc. and BlackRock World Mining Trust plc. He serves as a Director of the Managing Member of Mortgage Investments, LLC. He has been a Director of Blackrock, Inc. since November 2005 and The Adirondack Trust Company since September 1, 2010. Mr. Dammerman served as a Director of American International Group, Inc., from November 12, 2008 to February 28, 2010. He served as a Director of BlackRock Credit Allocation Income Trust II, Inc. He served as a Director of General Electric Co. since 1994, Montgomery Ward Holding Corp., since January 26, 1999, Genworth Financial Inc., from May 2004 to December 21, 2005 and Swiss Re Ltd., since February 27, 2006. He is a Trustee of Skidmore College and Saratoga Springs, New York. He serves on the Board of Directors of the New York Racing Association. He serves on two boards, each with significant ties to the Saratoga region. In 1998, "CFO" magazine awarded Dammerman the first-ever "Lifetime Achievement Award for CFO Excellence.". Mr. Dammerman graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Dubuque, Iowa, US in 1967."[1]
