The Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) is a US military agency.
Its motto is: "Information and Technology for Better Decision Making". According to its homepage, it was established in 1974. [1]
Until July 2004, the director of the Defense Manpower Data Center was Kenneth C. Scheflen. He now works for Viisage, which describes itself as 'a leading provider of advanced technology identity solutions' [2]. In May 2004, while director of the DMDC, Scheflen participated in a one-day conference in the UK called "ID Cards: The Next Steps" [3].
