Biographical Information
"David Whitaker, OBE, is a Co-Founder and Partner of Performance Consultants LLP, which provides consultancy to business in the fields of coaching, leadership development, organisational performance and change, and talent management. He works with senior executives and teams in a variety of sectors to promote high performance. A former international field-hockey player, he subsequently spent eight years as Coach for both England and Great Britain. After leading Great Britain to Olympic Gold in 1988, he was chosen as Coach of the Year and was Chair of Sports Coach UK (2002-2006). He is author of several books, including The Spirit of Teams. David earned an undergraduate degree from Loughborough University and spent fourteen years in leadership roles in the education sector."[1]
