David Weinstein
"During a 24 year career as a senior business executive and corporate lawyer at Fidelity Investments, the largest mutual fund company in the United States, Mr. Weinstein was Chief of Administration, managing the company’s legal, human resources, real estate, compliance, security, audit, and accounting functions. He also led the firm’s government relations efforts with public policy makers in Washington, DC and the 50 states. He chaired the Committee on Ethics, served on the boards of directors of many Fidelity companies, and chaired the firm’s Political Action Committees.
"During his early Fidelity career, he practiced corporate, securities, and tax law. He chairs the Board of Overseers of Boston College Law School, and serves as a trustee of Boston College and Bryant University. He has served on a variety of civic, business, and not-for-profit boards including, the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation, US Chamber of Commerce National Foundation, President’s Advisory Committee on the Arts, American Heart Association, Financial Services Roundtable, Investment Company Institute, Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation, Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, Fessenden School, Belmont Hill School, and Reading Is Fundamental. Mr. Weinstein is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences, where he serves on the Investment Committee. At the Harvard Kennedy School, he is a member of the International Council of the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, and the Advisory Board of the Taubman Center for State and Local Government. Mr. Weinstein is a graduate of Boston University and Boston College Law School."[1]
