Biographical Information

"David Kracke is an attorney in Portland, Oregon, who for over twenty-five years has been working on environmental issues including ozone layer depletion, habitat preservation and protection of endangered species. He is a past board member of the Emerald Blue Project, The Rhino Trust and worked closely with the Lewa Wildlife Sanctuary in northern Kenya. In 2011 he organized and directed a presentation at the Oregon Zoo on behalf of WildAid and testified to committees in the Oregon legislature in support of a ban on the possession and sale of shark fin. He is also co-founder and board member of The Kaya Foundation, an organization dedicated to preserving rainforests in Ecuador. David studied international environmental law at the University of Nairobi in Nairobi, Kenya. He currently practices law in Portland where he lives with his wife and two daughters." [1]
