David spent much of his career in senior financial executive positions, firstly with Emap plc where he served as Group Finance Director from 1989 to 2000, and more recently with Reuters Group plc, where he was Chief Financial Officer from 2000 to 2008, when Reuters Group became Thomson Reuters Limited."
