David Geffen is the founder of Geffen Records and co-founded Dreamworks Movie Studio with Steven Spielberg and Jeffrey Katzenberg.
Geffen is one of presidential hopeful Senator Barack Obama (D-Ill.)'s "chief Hollywood fundraisers," Jake Tapper wrote February 21, 2007.
Geffen helped former President Bill Clinton "raise almost $20 million during that era, and spent at least one night at the White House's fabled Lincoln Bedroom," Tapper wrote.
