Biographical Information
"Mr. Quinlivan became President and CEO of Alacer Gold on August 1, 2012. Prior to that, Mr. Quinlivan had been an independent, non-executive member of Alacer's Board of Directors since 2005. Mr. Quinlivan is a mining engineer with over 30 years experience on projects throughout the world. He has significant mining and executive leadership experience with 11-years of service at WMC Resources Ltd, followed by a number of high-profile mining development positions. Since 1989, Mr. Quinlivan has served as Principal of Borden Mining Services. Mr. Quinlivan has served as Chief Executive Officer of Sons of Gwalia Ltd (during the corporate reconstruction of the company and post appointment of administrators), Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Mt. Gibson Mining Iron Ltd and Chairman of Churchill Mining plc."[1]
