David Nachman is President of the Park Slope Jewish Center.

"David Nachman and his family have been members of the PSJC community since 1991, and he has served on the PSJC Board for nearly five years. David is a litigation partner in the Manhattan office of DLA Piper, a global law firm, who has been active in numerous pro bono and community efforts over the years, including service on Community Board 6 and the Board of Human Rights Watch/Americas and as Chair of the International Human Rights Committee of the New York City Bar Association. David lives in Park Slope with his wife of 19 years, Amy Schulman, and their three boys." [1]

"David Nachman has substantial experience representing leading corporations and financial institutions, as well as senior executives and directors of public companies, in difficult and complex securities law and corporate governance matters, particularly in situations involving parallel civil, criminal, or regulatory proceedings. Relevant recent engagements in these areas include Computer Associates International, the former CEO of Symbol Technologies, and Qwest founder Philip Anschutz." [2]

"Mr. Nachman graduated from Brandeis University and the New York University Law School. He is a son of Harvey B. Nachman and Rachel Weisberger Nachman, both of Santurce, P.R., where his father is a partner in the law firm of Nachman & Fernandez-Sein." [3]

When he married Amy in 1987 he was an associate in the New York law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison. [4]
