Amy Schulman
Amy Weinfeld Schulman "is Senior Vice President and the General Counsel of Pfizer. She leads the Company's worldwide Legal Division with responsibility for a range of global legal and regulatory areas, including intellectual property, litigation, regulatory law, global security, regulatory compliance, licensing and acquisitions.
"Before joining Pfizer in June 2008, Ms. Schulman was a partner at DLA Piper, an international business law firm where she sat on the firm's Global Board, as well as the firm's Executive and Policy Committees. At DLA Piper, Ms. Schulman focused on complex class action litigation for numerous Fortune 500 clients. She has handled some of the most complicated legal, scientific and regulatory issues facing the world's most respected companies, including Pfizer. She also spearheaded a number of the firm's strategic initiatives, most notably in the areas of client services, diversity and inclusiveness, and mentoring.
"Ms. Schulman, who has been recognized repeatedly for her commitment to clients and her skills as a legal advocate, was called "one of the best strategic lawyers around" by Chambers USA. In 2004, The American Lawyer recognized her as one of the legal superstars under the age of 45.
