Dave Mozersky

Dave Mozersky is an Associate Director for Humanity United. "Prior to joining the team, Dave spent six years with the International Crisis Group, where he held several positions in the Africa program. Most recently, he served as the Horn of Africa project director, leading programs on Sudan, Chad, Ethiopia-Eritrea and Somalia. His work has focused primarily on Sudan’s multiple conflicts and their impact on neighboring countries, as well as local and international peacemaking efforts in the Horn. Dave has been involved in conflict-prevention work in Sudan and eastern Africa since 2001, with a specific interest in mediation efforts and regional peace processes. Based in Kenya from 2001 to 2006, Dave has written extensively about the conflicts and peacemaking efforts in Sudan and the broader region. He authored and co-authored more than two dozen International Crisis Group reports and briefing papers, and his writing has appeared in the Harvard International Review, International Herald-Tribune, Financial Times-Europe, and other publications.
