Dan Meyer was appointed by George W. Bush in March 2007 to be Deputy Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs. Before this Meyer had worked as Vice President of The Duberstein Group, a Washington D.C. lobbying firm. He was also a director of the Republican think-tank, the Congressional Institute.
