Background
Abrams attended Columbia University as a law student. [1]
Career with NBC and MSNBC
Abrams was an NBC chief legal correspondent for four years and the anchor for The Abrams Report. In 2006 he was promoted to chief legal analyst for and general manager of MSNBC. [2] During his time in this position MSNBC experienced 50% increases in ratings and profits. [1]
Abrams Research
In December 2008 Abrams launched Abrams Research, a global online service designed to link corporate representatives to journalists and other media experts with the goal of seeking and sharing professional advice. [3]
Two notable partnerships made with this consulting firm were with Dan Klores Communications[www.dkcnews.com) and The Abernathy Macgregor Group, both PR and media strategy firms. [4]
