Biographical Information
"Dale Stahl is a Ph.D. candidate in Middle East history. He received a B.A. from Stanford University in 2002 and an M.A. from Columbia in 2008. Publications include An Argument for Documenting Casualties: Violence Against Iraqi Civilians 2006 and More Freedom, Less Terror? Liberalization and Political Violence in the Arab World, both published by the RAND Corporation in 2008." [1]
His PhD is titled "The Two Rivers: Water, Development and Politics in the Tigris-Euphrates Basin 1920-1975" (a examination of politics in Turkey). [1]
