The Council for Corporate and School Partnerships was founded in 2001 by Coca-Cola to serve, according to its website, as a "forum for the exchange of information, expertise and ideas to ensure that partnerships between businesses and schools achieve their full potential for meeting key educational objectives."[1] Chaired by former U.S. Secretary of Education Richard Riley, the Council works to further school soda contracts to provide resources for school programs.
