The Coalition for Election Finance Monitoring (CEFIM) "is draft a comprehensive report on the recently concluded Presidential, Parliamentary and Local Council elecions 2006. The report is premised on vote buying, use of public resources for campaigns, campaign finance declarations and general compliance to electoral law.
"The report is further based on findings from the areas of Kalamoja, Tororo district, Teso, Busoga, Kisoro district, Apac & Lira districts, Rwenzori and central region where it monitored the elections. CEFIM is jointly spearheaded by ACCU (Anti Corruption Coalition Uganda) and Transparency International Uganda. The other members are:
- Rwenzori Anti-corruption Coalition (RAC)
- Apac Anti-corruption Coalition (TAACC)
- Teso Anti-corruption Coalition (TAC)
- Tororo Civil Society Network (TOCINET)
- Busoga Anti-CORRUPTION Network (BACNET)
- Kisoro Anti-corruption Coalition (KACC0)
- Mbarara District Civil Society Forum (MBADICSOF)
- Karamoja Anti-corruption Coalition
- Northern Uganda Anti-corruption Coalition (NUAC) [1]
