Biographical Information

"Clemens founded the Triskeles Foundation in 2002. In his role as President, Clemens leads the strategic planning, vision development, fund raising, personnel supervision, and program development of Triskeles. Prior to establishing the Triskeles Foundation, Clemens served as the executive director (1984-2002) of the Camphill Foundation ~ a public foundation focused on serving communities that care for and support children, youth and adults with developmental disabilities. During his time there, he was responsible for active investments and grant-making programs, and led major outreach and fundraising events. His activities led him into national and international networks of progressive leaders. Clemens has written and published a variety articles and books in addition to training development professionals. Before Camphill, Clemens served in the New York State government in the Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities and with the Ohio state legislature. Clemens has a BA in Political Science and Public Administration and other training in not-for-profit management, finance, and development."[1]
