The Christian Legal Society (CLS) "ministry area composes the leadership, board of directors, staff, and various associates that administer policy and direction for the entire society. It is composed of an Executive director and a volunteer board of directors headed by men and women of faith who believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and that those in the legal profession should follow His example of concern for his fellow man. The staff is located near the nation's capital in order to affect policy makers and legislation important to the membership. Individuals that are not lawyers but are concerned with ethics and its effect on the legal profession are served by this ministry as well." [1]
