Biographical Information

"Chris's career has been primarily in UK commercial property development and investment. He established the Oliver Foundation (UK) in 1994 to support fund raising initiatives in the UK and abroad. He has actively been involved in conservation with the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) since 2000 and is chairman of the DSWF trading company.

"In 2001, jointly with Sharon and Bruce Little, he established Hopewell Game Reserve a conservation initiative in South Africa, transforming a cattle farm in the Eastern Cape into a protected wild area for flora and fauna, as well as creating employment and skills training in a rural community.

"As co-founder of the Oliver Foundation (SA), Chris will contribute his valuable business skills and contacts to develop sustainable initiatives for social upliftment, education, business skills development and conservation."
