Chinese Economists Society (CES) "is an independent, non-profit, professional and academic organization consisting of more than 400 economists from China. CES promotes economic reform and the open-door policy and encourages academic exchange programs. Because of the background of its members, CES provides a unique bridge between the United States and China in promoting market reforms and liberalization. Through its activities over the past 13 years, CES has established an excellent reputation in academic and policy circles in China." [1]
