Cheryl Campbell

Cheryl Campbell "has been tve's executive director (CEO) since 2003. After graduating from Cambridge, Cheryl trained as a journalist on the Lancashire Evening Post before working for BBC radio as a reporter. She worked on screen for UK regional television channels Television South West and Tyne Tees and from 1988 - 92 was a senior reporter for the national commercial breakfast channel TV-am. In 1992 Cheryl moved to one of the UK's leading aid agencies, Christian Aid. Over the next 11 years she played a significant role in developing Christian Aid's cutting edge approach to communicating development to mainstream audiences. Cheryl was Head of Public Communications from 1995 and Head of the Broadcasting, Digital and Publishing Division from 2001 as Christian Aid put the developing world on UK television against prevailing trends. Cheryl is a Fellow of the RSA." [1]
