Center for Reproductive Health Research & Policy
The UCSF Center for Reproductive Health Research & Policy (CRHRP) "was formed in 1999 to address the health, social, and economic consequences of sexual behavior by integrating research and training efforts in contraception and family planning with work that addresses sexually transmitted infections and HIV/AIDS. In 2005, the CRHRP was renamed the Bixby Center for Reproductive Health Research & Policy in recognition of an endowment from the Fred H. Bixby Foundation. The Center strives to develop preventive solutions to the most pressing domestic and international reproductive health problems." [1]
"A Bixby Center staff of 175, working with more than 300 collaborators abroad, is carrying out over 100 domestic and international projects funded at $30 million annually." [2]
