Cate Buchanan
Cate Buchanan is the Project Manager, Human Security and Small Arms at the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue.
"In addition to a degree in International Relations and Development Studies from the Australian National University, Cate has extensive experience working in the violence prevention sector. Cate has also worked as a lobbyist for Australians for Native Title and Reconciliation; a legal researcher for a public sector union; as a campaigner for the Australian Conservation Foundation on climate change issues. In 2000, she was the programme associate for disarmament and security for the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom, followed by a period of working for the International Action Network on Small Arms (IANSA) as the New York liaison officer."[1]
