Carolyn Raffensperger

Carolyn Raffensperger "is a lawyer specializing in the fundamental changes in law and policy necessary for the protection and restoration of public health and the environment. As executive director of the Science and Environmental Health Network, she is involved in ecological medicine, restructuring the judicial system, and taking action to prevent irreversible damage to public health. A veteran of the conservation movement, Carolyn ran the Chicago office of the Sierra Club during the 1980s and served on a radioactive waste disposal siting commission. She and her husband maintain a 3,500-acre organic farm in North Dakota."
