"Carolyn was previously Chief Executive of the Guardian Media Group plc. Previously, Carolyn held posts as Chief Executive, Deputy Managing Director, Commercial Director and Advertisement Director at Guardian Newspapers.

"She is also a Non-Executive Director of Tesco plc.

"She was Non-Executive Director of New Look plc and a former President of Women in Advertising and Communications London.

"Carolyn holds a BA degree in history and politics, and a Master’s in politics. She is married with three children. Carolyn joins easyJet on 1st July 2010 as their new Chief Executive."
