Biographical Information
"Carole Souter joined the Heritage Lottery Fund as Chief Executive in April 2003, from English Heritage, where she was Director of Planning and Development.
"She has more than 30 years experience of policy development and management roles in the public sector, having worked in the Departments of Health, Social Security and the Cabinet Office.
"Carole has degrees in Politics and Philosophy and Victorian Studies, and is a Trustee of the London Community Foundation. She is also a board member of Creativity, Culture and Education and a Trustee of the Kent Wildlife Trust."[1]
