Carlton G. Ketchum died in 1984 and was the cofounder of Ketchum Inc. (initially known as Ketchum, MacLeod & Grove), with his brother George. "Mr. Ketchum was national finance director of the Republican Party from 1937 to 1941 and again from 1949 to 1957. He was credited with adapting organized fund-raising methods to politics...
"Mr. Ketchum was a founder of the American Association of Fund-Raising Counsel in 1935 and served as its president for two terms.
