Biographical Information

"Carl Webb has been a director of Prologis, previously AMB Property Corporation, since 2007. In his current role as a Prologis board member, he serves on the compensation committee. He is a senior partner of Ford Management, L.P., a Dallas-based private equity firm with a focus on equity investments in financial services nationally. Mr. Webb is also chief executive officer and a board member of Pacific Capital Bancorp; he is chairman and chief executive officer of Pacific Capital Bank, N.A. In addition, Mr. Webb has served as consultant to Hunter's Glen/Ford, Ltd., a private investment partnership, since 2002. He served as the co-chairman of Triad Financial Holdings LLC, a privately held financial services company, from 2007 to 2009, and was the interim president and chief executive officer from 2005 to 2007.

"Previously, Mr. Webb was the president, chief operating officer and director of Golden State Bancorp Inc. and its subsidiary, California Federal Bank, FSB, from 1994 to 2002. Prior to his affiliation with California Federal Bank, FSB, Mr. Webb was the president and CEO of First Madison Bank, FSB (from 1993 to 1994) and First Gibraltar Bank, FSB (from 1988 to 1993), as well as president and director of First National Bank at Lubbock (from 1983 to 1988). In addition to Prologis, Mr. Webb is a director of Pacific Capital Bancorp, Hilltop Holdings Inc., and M & F Worldwide Corporation. He is a former director of Plum Creek Timber Company and is a former director of Triad Financial SM LLC."[1]
