Cappy McGarr
Cappy McGarr "is President of McGarr Capital Holdings, LLC, an investment company in Dallas, Texas. He served as a Trustee of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts from 1996 to 2002. He has championed the Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize since its inception. McGarr serves on the Board of the Lyndon Baines Johnson Foundation and is a member of the Board of The Foundation for the National Archives. He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations in New York. He is a past Chairman of the Development Board of the University of Texas at Austin. McGarr has appeared on Wall $treet Week, and has been featured twice in Barron’s. He received three degrees from the University of Texas, a Bachelor of Arts in 1973, Bachelor of Journalism in 1975 and a Master of Business Administration in 1977." [1]
