Campaign for an Independent Britain
The Campaign for an Independent Britain is an organisation calling for Britain's withdrawal from the European Union. They are a sister organization of the Freedom Association.
The campaign for an Independent Britain is cross-party, non-sectarian and non-racist. Although it has both Conservative and Labour MPs and Peers among its officers, most of its members are ordinary people from all over the country. The campaign was formed in 1976 as the Safeguard Britain Campaign. Its name was changed to British Anti-Common Market Campaign in 1983 and changed again in 1989 to Campaign for an Independent Britain, which exactly states our purpose.
