Biographical Information

"Mr. Todd was appointed a director of the Company in May 2012. He holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary and has over 30 years of experience in the industry. Mr. Todd is Chief Executive Officer of US Oil Sands. Prior to this position, Mr. Todd served as a Senior Vice President, Operations, Refining and Marketing from 2009 to 2011 and as Vice President, Refining and Marketing from 2006 to 2009 at Connacher Oil and Gas Limited, a TSX-listed company engaged in oil sands exploration and production in the Athabasca region. From 1998 to 2006, Mr. Todd served as Vice President, Business Development for Pioneer Natural Resources, a U.S.-based independent oil and natural gas company. From 1994 to 1998, Mr. Todd was Manager, Business Development at Chauvco Resources, which followed a 14 year career at Amoco Canada Resources in Calgary. Mr. Todd is a past director of the Petroleum Joint Venture Association and the Canadian Institute of Mining Metallurgy and Petroleum."
