"On 27 July 2012, Cable and Wireless Worldwide became a wholly owned subsidiary of Vodafone Group Plc, following the successful recommended cash takeover offer by Vodafone Europe B.V.. As a result of the takeover, Cable and Wireless Worldwide was delisted from the London Stock Exchange on 30 July 2012." [1]
