CORA is an acronym that stands for Consumer and Regulatory Affairs. CORA was a department of British American Tobacco Company. CORA's mission was to "support consumers' freedom of choice to smoke." Other goals were to "Shape future developments on freedom to sell, market and smoke tobacco products, win more influence for the company among governments, media, opinion leaders and consumers," and "work with Legal to support the defence of product liability litigation." CORA was generally analagous to Philip Morris Corporate Affairs department in the United States. [1]
