COP18 will be the eighteenth Conference of the Parties (COP) under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The conference date and venue have yet to be decided but in December 2009 the chair of COP15, Danish minister Connie Hedegaard, said that the conference would be held in Asia.[1]
